Wow where has the time gone

So I have trying to figure out where the time has gone!  Here we are and it's summer!  Kyle has just graduated, the girls are growing like weeds.  I have been trying to figure out the best way to keep track of the goings on in my life.  I remembered I had a blog.  DUH!  So here we go again.  I might have to set my alarm on my iphone to remind me, but whatever it takes.  We have had an eventful June.  We got Kyle graduated, whew..., we went on a cruise, and we plowed right into summer.

Melissa and I went to she Britney Spears on her circus tour. It was interesting to say the least, fun, entertaining.

Once upon a mattress

Megan was in the union middle school play. Once upon a mattress. She was a lady of the court which is sort of an ensemble part. She did a great job. I got to do the make up for the cast, it was a lot of fun

Kyle gets his beloved bike

Kyle had been looking for a bike for a long time, he wanted to spend like 2000.00. We wanted to spend like 200.00. So we comprimised and he found a used bike on craigslist for 750.00. It is the love of his life.

Grandma Joan has a big birthday party

It was fun, we decided because she didn't want a big birthday party surprise we would have a birthday funday and surprise her with little surprises along the way.

We took her to the spa then to lunch and a movie then home for a fun dinner and family time.

Sharon had a balloon lady come and decorate her whole house with balloons, she was very surprised. Then we made an album for her of all of us and we each wrote her a little letter. It was a fun day and I hope she enjoyed it the way she wanted to.

The Dolphins - Abigails baseball team/girlscouts

Abby was on the girls softball team called the Dolphins. I was the teams mom. She had a lot of fun and met a bunch of friends. Her favorite part was hitting and she loved to bring the dog and go to the snack shack after.

Disney Cruise to the Caribbean April 2009

For spring break this year we decided to go on a disney cruise, we got a great price and for my 40th birthday we decided it would be fun!

The kids were totally jazzed, we invited vickie and diane and thought after the cruise we would spend a couple days at epcot.

We took off out of port canaveral and after a few days on the ship we were in St Maarten, then off to St thomas/St john and finally disneys private island.

One night we eat at this exclusive resaurant on board the ship called Paolos. It was some of the best food we had ever experienced. They gave us what ever we wanted and brought a couple of other choices to try as well. Yum Yum.

The shows were amazing. Every night disney style broadway shows. We were truley spoiled! Megan met a bunch of friends for life and was out every night with them until midnight. Kyle hung out in the teen lounge and hung out until 2 am some times. They had to come back to reality when we got off the boat. curfew, dark! Abigail loved seeing the characters everyday! We all had a fun time.
